How Does Laser Cleaning Work?

Laser cleaning uses controlled pulses of laser energy to remove unwanted materials from a surface. The laser is carefully directed at the contamination, such as rust, paint, oil, carbon or oxidation. The energy breaks down and removes the unwanted material while leaving the underlying surface intact.
